The Los Alamos High School Hilltopper softball team traveled on Tuesday to Santa Fe to play the Demons in a non-conference doubleheader.

The first game was close with the Toppers leading, but the Demons were a constant threat, and the game went down to the last out when the Toppers won 5-4.

The second game was all Toppers and they won 12-4.

Wildfire Update: Unified Fire In Valencia County March 27

Highlights: Containment lines on the Unified Fire held up to tests from higher winds yesterday, raising containment to 50%. Today, fire crews will continue suppression activities as well as rehabilitation efforts within the affected area. I recently came across a concept called The Curley effect. It has nothing to do with Larry and Moe. After some research I learned that The Curley effect, coined by economists Edward L.
